Uzbekistan’s $7.8 Billion Bukhara Investment Programme Targets 14,000 Jobs

On 3 November, Uzbekistan announced a $7.8 billion development programme in the Bukhara region, comprising 145 projects across industry, energy, tourism and infrastructure. Once implemented, the projects are expected to create more than 14,000 jobs and generate annual industrial output worth UZS 22 trillion, approximately $1.84 billion.
